Product Description
People go crazy for Organic PBfit, and here’s why: they don’t expect it to taste as good as regular peanut butter. But when they do, they get super excited, even a bit obsessed. Imagine enjoying delicious and low-calorie peanut butter, which means guilt-free smoothies, baked goods, peanut butter dips, oatmeal – you get the idea. Made from truly roasted peanuts, this peanut powder offers the classic peanut butter flavor loved by everyone in your family. Because Organic PBfit peanut butter powder is non-GMO, USDA organic, dairy-free, soy-free, and gluten-free, almost anyone can enjoy it. Betterbody Foods PBfit gently roasts and crushes peanuts to extract most of the oils from these peanuts. This process reduces unnecessary fats found in regular peanut butter while still retaining the delicious, low-fat peanut powder rich in flavor. PBfit has won an award for its taste, recognized by ChefsBest. To earn the ChefsBest Excellence Award, products must meet quality standards set by professional chefs. To make low-fat peanut butter, simply mix 2 tablespoons of dry PBfit with 1.5 tablespoons of water. PBfit is packaged at BetterBody Foods’ world headquarters in Lindon, Utah.

There’s an empty container of peanut butter powder sitting in my cupboard, reminding me of the journey I went through while waiting for my next jar. For those on diets, peanut butter becomes the most delectable food when you’re trying to lose weight. While I still loved peanut butter, I found myself eating too much of it, so I switched to peanut butter powders. I could eat as much as I wanted because it had more protein than calories, and sometimes I would even pack it as a quick snack. I got used to eating strange things with a spoon in public, so I didn’t mind. It was just an easy snack option. After eating a whole jar in one day, I realized I needed to control my intake. I limited my usage of peanut butter powder and instead ate it in my coffee or smoothies. I was successful until I had about a third of a large jar left. That was a tough week, and my inner voice kept urging me to eat more. I gave in and ate the rest of the jar, feeling guilty and bloated. When I finished the jar, my inner voice asked if I wanted to eat some regular peanut butter. I didn’t, and after that experience, I haven’t ordered another jar of peanut butter powder. Now, I tend to eat more regular peanut butter slowly, dipping a spoonful here and there. Perhaps peanut butter powder isn’t as evil as I once thought, as it controls my peanut butter addiction.
Update: I’ve noted a difference between using PBfit versus organic jarred PB-satiety (hunger pains). Since switching to PBfit in my daily smoothie, I began experiencing hunger pains 2 hours later. Normally, my lunchtime smoothie holds me over until dinner. At first, it didn’t click that the ‘form of PB’ could be the culprit. I conducted a little research and found the fat in PB helps to alleviate hunger. After discovering this fact, I decided to take a break from PBfit and, return to jarred organic PB in my lunchtime smoothie. After switching back to jarred PB, my hunger pains subsided and I felt satiated until dinner. I’ll continue to use the PBfit but, I’ve altered to using part PBfit & part jarred PB (or almond butter) to my daily smoothie. This seems to be working in keeping hunger pains at bay. Original Review: I use PBfit in my daily smoothies. (I have mixed it with water and used it on a sandwich a few times- it’s easy to mix and spreads well). I switched from organic peanut butter (in jar) over to Organic PBfit powder. Organic, Non-GMO, Less fat, lower calorie count while still obtaining daily protein. This is much easier to add (and less messy) into my smoothie vs jarred organic PB. The taste of PBfit is akin to organic jarred peanut butter (I’ve used Organic Santa Cruz or Smucker’s). I noticed a slightly sweet taste before adding to my smoothie vs organic jarred or raw PB. But, no where close to as sweet as non-organic PB brands loaded with sugar. I honestly couldn’t distinguish sweetness or salt when mixed in my smoothie. Overall- I like this brand. Has a good flavor (doesn’t taste like cardboard), mixes well into my smoothie recipes and saves me money (I go through a lot of PB in my smoothies). I use a spoon and add the powder directly to my smoothie- mixes well without need to pre-mix. Shelf stable and, will last me much longer than jarred versions. Container was full with ample supply.
