Customer Reviews
I’ve been eating a bowl of oatmeal with this in it nearly everyday since coming home from the hospital with my baby(will include recipe). My baby just turned 3 months old. I have a decent milk supply, but some days I make just enough. I have wondered why some days my supply is just enough and others I have an oversupply. I finally paid close attention to what I do the day before I have less milk… I didn’t eat my lactation oatmeal. I put ground flaxseed in my oatmeal so I don’t know if it is that or this brewer’s yeast. I’m guessing it’s a mixture of both. I think this works and no other breastfeeding supplement has ever worked for me. Every other supplement makes my milk supply disappear. Here is my really simple lactation oatmeal recipe. 1/2 cup oats (I use old fashioned oats) 3/4 teaspoon Brewer’s yeast 2 teaspoons ground flaxseed Pinch of salt 1/8 cup brown sugar A bit of cinnamon A bit of butter One cup of water For quick oats, microwave one and a half minutes. For old-fashion oats, microwave 3 minutes. Stir halfway through. I would not use more Brewers yeast because it does not have a great taste. My recipe masks The taste quite well. The bag lasts a long time. I’ve gone through about half of the bag in 3 months. Worth a try!
I absolutely love the taste of this product, it gives me a massive energy boost. Although I’m not currently breastfeeding, I couldn’t resist trying it out as a mother of five and grandmother of eight. I struggle with digesting regular yeast, but after hearing that cocoa powder makes it more digestible, I decided to give it a go. And let me tell you, I’m overjoyed with the results! Now I have it on subscription and eat it twice daily. Not only does it aid in increasing milk supply, but it also has numerous health benefits and has been used for thousands of years as a medication. I’m running low on my current supply, so I’m purchasing another package immediately. The drink made with this has a slight yeast taste, but the dominant flavor is chocolate. It mixes well in warm water and dissolves slowly in cold milk, and it’s even great in coffee! The chocolate helps to reduce the unpleasantness of yeast. And the benefits in terms of how you feel, energy levels, and good for skin make this an absolute fantastic and desirable product.
